Lori Kaczmarek has dedicated over 35 years to nursing. She is a vascular access clinical specialist and Director of Clinical Education at H.B. Fuller Medical Adhesive Technologies, previously known as Adhezion Biomedical. Throughout her career, she has managed vascular access teams and placed devices in various healthcare settings, including acute care hospitals, long-term care, and sub-acute care across the Midwest. Lori was the President of the Association for Vascular Access (AVA) national board of directors in 2020 and edited the Journal of the Association for Vascular Access. She has held multiple roles on the AVA board, including secretary and director-at-large, and is a past president of the Association for Vascular Access Foundation (AVAF) board. She is the AVA board Secretary for 2024 and is set to be the President-Elect in 2025. Additionally, Lori has contributed as a practice reviewer for the 2021 and 2024 INS standards of care. She holds a master’s degree in nursing focusing on Health Care Informatics. She is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences on tissue adhesive use, vascular access standards of care, and data management.
